Hi! I’m Nik
I am graduating in May from Utah Valley University where I studied Interaction Design. I love getting to understand users and solving different problems.
My way into design was a bit of a tumble. I was searching through degrees that UVU offered and found myself on the school’s Web Design and Development page. I got there looking for dev but discovered a new term: UX Design. I then spent hours looking into UX and knew that I would love this field.
It was learning about Design Thinking that sucked me in. The idea of taking the time to think through complex problems, exploring different solutions, and discovering how to solve them is exciting.
Outside of UX, I spend the majority of my time with my family. My wife and I have two kids, Ella and Jude. We are living in the mountains of Utah and spend as much time outdoors as possible!
Hiking and camping are some of our favorite activities. My wife and I love traveling, and on the rare occasion that I find myself alone, I’m usually out longboarding.
